Anwers--to both questions-- later today
1. LOOKING. Jack is looking at Anne but Anne is looking at George. Jack is married but George is not. Is a married person looking at an unmarried person? [a. Yes c. No c. Cannot be determined.]
Answer is "yes."
This one is pretty difficult, but not as hard as any that involves conditional probability. In my large, diverse public opinion sample, about 20% get it right.
